I’m super-stoked to open for David Gans on 11/3 and 11/4 at the Bahr Gallery in Oyster Bay. I'll play a short set of original Hawaiian Slack Key songs before David brings down the house with lots of awesome Grateful Dead interpretations and originals of his own. Details at https://www.bahrgallery.com/news-events/david-gans-live-at-the-bahr-gallery. RSVP to ted@bahrgallery.com required. $20 cover.

Who is David Gans? David Gans is best known as the voice of Grateful Dead Radio. I used to listen to his show when I was a teen! He’s a Grateful Dead historian with five books about the Dead, a syndicated radio host and co-host on Sirius XM’s Grateful Dead channel (the only station ever on in my car!), a singer and a songwriter, and a super-sweet guy.

Doors will open at 7pm and David will meet and speak with guests as well as sign his books and CDs. I’ll start playing at 7:45 and then David takes the stage at 8:15. With a “short break” in the middle, our evening will end at 10. And it’s all surrounded by Ted Bahr’s latest Exhibition, “The Posters of the Grateful Dead”.

Refreshments and snacks will be served for free and Oyster Bay has a bunch of great restaurants to visit prior to the show - check them out here: www.bahrgallery.com/about/visiting-oyster-bay
